Offering a leisure pool, tenpin bowling, ice-skating and soft play all under one roof, Guildford Borough Council is justifiably proud of this multi-sport leisure complex, it is certainly regarded as a flag ship for Council owned sporting venues.  Since it opened in 1993 well over ten million visitors have been welcomed within its large glass walls.

A fifty metre outdoor heated pool set in landscaped gardens retaining much of its 1930s charm, when Lidos first became popular.   It is open every summer between April and September with various family attractions and activities.

Riverside Park is a strip of 100 hectare informal parkland straddling the A3 from Burpham to Ladymead following the course of the River Wey.  It is owned and funded by the Council with an emphasis on nature conservation and habitat creation.  The park has four main habitats of meadow, wetland, open water and woodland.   The lake and meadow around it were inherited from the construction of the A3 and further parcels of land have added to it since the 1970s.

Kings College, Howard of Effingham and Ash Manor Schools offer dual use facilities between the schools and the Borough.  If you live nearby why not find out what amenities you can use and the times they are open.  A variety of floodlit all weather pitches, sports halls and tennis/netball and cricket facilities are available.
