St John's chapel.

The school's chapel replaced the original chapel which now serves as the school library. The new chapel was needed as the original chapel could no longer cater for the school's success and growth in students.

St John's endeavours to build upon the strengths of its Christian foundation by:

• Creating a friendly and responsive atmosphere for all members of the community

• Welcoming students from a range of backgrounds and promoting tolerance and understanding

• Starting each day together with a short chapel-based assembly in order to present and examine the values at the heart of the community

• Maintaining the highest standards of pastoral care and discipline
