About Cuba Street Festival
Cuba Street Festival
Cuba street festival is a major call for all the talented artistes, performers and a weekend audience and is predominantly inspired by the Notting Hill Carnival, fairs and additional raucous street parades.
Cuba street festival is now biennial so that it does not clash with the NZ International Arts Festival. It encompasses live street busker, a street market and a night street parade and thus makes the entire festivity a colorful show. The other main draws of the event are bands, DJs, huge range of Latin American Music along with the urban explosion of artisan market, unique kids entertainment, freshest NZ-designs, accessories, handmade jewelery, Pacific handcrafts, curios, and delectable international food.
The Cuba street carnival is full of surprises and is all about diversity and enthusiasm. You may also stumble upon many well-known bars of Wellington that are out on the street, astounding performers, sparkles, fantastic floats, electrifying dancers, and music that bags you an array of mesmerizing and unforgettable jiffies. But, the most enthralling show stealer will incontestably be a night parade that holds a euphoric atmosphere and continuous to add more revelry to every nook and corner of the city with dancing, entertainment and huge batucada drum-off in the streets.
